Vistry Western, which has its regional office in Clifton, held the event for its charity of the year at The Kendleshire’s 18 hole golf course near Bristol. There was also a putting competition, raffle and auction for the players.
Sue Scholfield, regional managing director, said: “We’re delighted that the event was such a resounding success. Not only did we manage to raise a huge sum of money for a very worthwhile cause but it was also good fun for everyone involved. Colleagues and subcontractors could spend time together while they soaked in the gorgeous scenery and reflected on the cause as they took part.”
Sue added: “Alzheimer’s Society is an incredible charity and the organisation makes a huge difference to those affected by dementia. We’re pleased to contribute to the charity’s amazing work and will continue to hold bake sales, sponsored walks and fundraising cycle rides to help.”
