To date, 83 PRS homes have already been delivered, with the Chesterwell Estate development offering a mix of two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses for private rental use.
Work on site started in February 2022, with completion of the three-year build scheduled for early 2025. Countryside Partnerships (part of the Vistry Group) is the development partner on the scheme and Leaf Living will own and manage the PRS properties.
Peter Willis, managing director, Vistry Group East said: “The PRS units we have delivered in partnership with Leaf Living are a great example of the mixed-tenure housing Countryside Partnerships specialises in, providing a diverse mix of homes to meet the multiple needs of a community. We are very pleased to be working in partnership with PRS provider Leaf Living at a time when demand for rental property is at a high. We look forward to continuing to work together to reach completion of this much-needed scheme.”
Will Montague, CEO of Leaf Living said: “We are delighted to have made such good progress with Vistry Group to deliver homes for private rent on the Chesterwell Estate. These new homes have been designed to naturally complement the surrounding countryside, and are located just minutes away from the lively city of Colchester. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Vistry Group on other sites, ensuring we provide the best quality housing for the local community.”
