Vistry secures place on SNG network for major future home building plan

Vistry Group, the UK’s leading mixed tenure housebuilder, has secured a place on an £800m framework for construction for Sovereign Network Group (SNG).

The deal includes work on projects across the south and south west of England including Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Devon and Hampshire. It is part of a four-year plan in which G15 members aim to complete 25,000 new homes during the next 10 years.

Vistry clinched the deal along with partners Hill but other suppliers appointed to the framework include Thakeham, E G Carter, Feltham Construction, Amiri Construction and C G Fry and Sons.

SNG comprises Sovereign and Network Homes – two major players who merged last year to form the new partnership which has a target to build 2,500 new homes by 2027.

Vistry is already working with Sovereign on various developments across the business.

Stephen Teagle, CEO for partnerships and regeneration, says of the deal: “We are delighted to have been selected by SNG as one of the partners on its housing framework to deliver more than 3,000 new homes over the next four years. This is a great reflection of our proven track record of high quality, mixed-tenure housing delivery and the successful creation of sustainable long-term communities for people to call home.”
