Beaulieu, Chelmsford

From the outset, we have proactively engaged with the local community to develop a shared vision for the Beaulieu development that is mindful of the local area and culture.

As well as quality affordable homes we are providing a multi-million pound package of new infrastructure including health and sports facilities, local shops, schools as well as a community centre which will be managed by the Beaulieu Community Trust. It also provides a new landscaped setting for Grade 1-listed New Hall school. Leading to all of this is a major relief road, junction enhancements to the A12 and a new railway station.

The icing on the cake is the 176 acres of parks and open spaces which will be managed by The Land Trust, the national land management charity, which will work in partnership with the local community and resident groups to ensure the land is effectively managed and public open spaces, country parks, bridleways, woodlands and gardens benefit from substantial management and financial planning to safeguard them for the future.
