Sherford is set to become one of the region’s most vibrant and thriving communities. When complete, Sherford will have 5,500 homes in three distinct neighbourhoods with four schools, community facilities, shops, businesses, significant green space, a 500-acre community park and will provide homes and communities for thousands of people.

Work has started on the crucial next stage of Sherford, which will see yet more of the grand vision for the town come to life. The Sherford Consortium is creating ‘phase 1B’, which will include 457 new homes, a massive extension to the Country Park, and the creation of further family-friendly green spaces. This is the vital next stage in a project, in planning for over two decades, spanning 175-acres, ‘phase 1B’ will take several years to be fully developed.

Planning was approved in December 2021 for ‘Phase 2D’ with the Sherford Consortium due to start bringing the vision to life, with work set to start in Spring 2022 on the 769 homes, community facilities and expansive green space.
