Driving success

Driving success

Our supply chain is a key driver of our success and we prioritise building long-term Partnerships with our suppliers and subcontractors. We work collaboratively and understand the importance of actively supporting and investing in our supply chain, encouraging innovation and continuously seeking more efficient ways of working.

supply chain expertise

The Group operates a central procurement team that sources materials for our sites nationally. The team is responsible for managing 280 independent Group-approved supply chain agreements, and oversees approximately £750 million of direct and indirect spend with our supply chain. The team has an in-depth understanding of the Group’s project pipeline, including  details of all sites/schemes by region, trade, and house type. This real time data supports the holding of appropriate stock levels across the Group, driving efficiency and ensuring compliance.

Working in Partnership with our supply chain brings benefits to all parties. Our Partnerships model provides suppliers with certainty of demand, while our scale ensures we achieve best value and security of supply. This results in significant commercial and delivery advantages for our partners and our customers. As a Group, more than 90% of our building materials are procured centrally.

Our suppliers and subcontractors also share our values and play an active role in making a difference in the communities we serve.
