10 July 2025
A first and last at Nottingham's Develop-Her Day!
The first Develop-Her Day for 2025 took place at the start of July, bringing together colleagues from across Vistry to learn new powerful skills to help boost confidence, build resilience and understand the power of networking.
It also marked the end of an era for the organisers of the event - Women's Network leads, Kerri Rivington and Ronja Jenkins, as the group welcomes two new co-chairs.
Hosted by Sophie Turner from #YesSheCan, the event included sessions with coaches Danielle Thornton-Walker and Anjana Rajani, covering subjects including 'speaking with impact', 'difficult conversations and gender bias' and 'managing change'.
The event took place at Freeths, with the law firm providing a brilliant venue space for the 30 colleagues.
After nearly two years as leads of the Network, Ronja and Kerri have developed the group, welcoming many new members, setting up events such as the Develop-Her Days and Women in Conversation sessions, and introducing initiatives such as competitions and pushing forward the network hub.
Tara Hart, D&I Chair, said: "Kerri and Ronja have been outstanding network leads, trailblazing with the Develop-Her Days and so many other events and initiatives. They have led with passion and enthusiasm, and progressed the network alongside their day jobs."
