Introduction

Collingtree Park is a flagship development in a highly sought-after area of Northampton, close to the renown Collingtree Park Golf Course. Work on site commenced in May 2021 and is being constructed in two phases. The first phase has delivered 349 homes, and the second stage will see 651 homes built.

Collingtree Park is a thriving community with a range of amenities available to residents. A variety of local facilities, including a community centre, sports pitches and a local shopping commercial space are set to be built.

Housing Delivery and Affordable Homes

Vistry is building and selling homes on this development to open market customers through its Bovis Homes and Linden Homes retail brands.

Collingtree Park is a joint venture with Clarion Housing and in total will provide 700 homes on the open market. Through section 106 obligations, Vistry is delivering 150 homes, and another 150 homes are additional affordable. Vistry formed a strategic partnership with Clarion to convert homes originally intended for private delivery to additionality homes.

Community Facilities

Collingtree Park is a brand-new community, just four miles from Northampton town centre. The development has a number of play parks and open spaces.

The second phase will bring further amenities for the community, including:

  • Community centre
  • Local shopping commercial space
  • Sports pitches

Detailed archaeological investigations which took place in 2022, found many Roman artefacts that were approximately 1800 years old. Children from the local primary school visited the site to learn more about the excavation and the techniques that were used to ensure the artefacts remained intact.

The creation of Collingtree Park has enabled Vistry to work with local contractors and suppliers.

The development has:
